The most important part of growing mushrooms is making sure your spawn is clean. It doesn’t matter if you prepare the substrate perfectly, keep your inoculation area super clean, or take great care cleaning your fruiting chambers.
IF THE SPAWN ISN’T CLEAN, YOU WILL FAIL.
Actually, even if your substrate isn’t perfect, your room is dusty during inoculation, and your fruiting conditions aren’t great, if your spawn is clean, you still have a better chance of success!
